Of all the materials commonly used for fencing, concrete stands out. These options are characterized by high structural strength, resistance to external factors, and durability. They withstand mechanical damage, provide excellent sound insulation, and are fire-resistant. Furthermore, they require no specialized maintenance and are available in a variety of shapes and colors.

The most popular types of concrete fencing

The classification of these types of structures involves a division into monolithic and prefabricated structures. In the former case, the fence is made of concrete mortar, providing a simple and quick method of fencing a property. Monolithic concrete structures provide comprehensive protection and high strength. These vibratory-cast panels are made of sand-cement or reinforced concrete.

Prefabricated structures are subdivided into several types:

  • Reinforced concrete panels, which are manufactured in factories. Their installation requires a solid foundation for the fence, and to prevent gaps between the ground and the fence, the structure must be buried.
  • Eurofence. This is the most popular format of prefabricated panels, which include decorative sections. They are manufactured in various sizes and can be painted in a variety of colors. These panels are lightweight, manufactured using decorative concrete, and can be installed both in front of a house and as a fence for a garden.
  • Concrete block. During installation, its corners are initially formed, after which it is laid. The fencing construction method itself is quite time-consuming, but the end result is a striking and durable fence.

It's also worth noting that the structure has a concrete base and can be decorated with other materials that fit harmoniously into the design concept.

Installation of concrete panel fences, price per meter

To begin the work, it's necessary to secure certain materials in advance, including M500 cement, bricks, stones, concrete pieces for installing the supports, as well as access to water and electricity. The price for the project is calculated based on these materials, as well as the dimensions of the finished project. The total cost of installing a concrete fence is calculated for one span of a certain length, with a price range of approximately 500-600 hryvnias per section. The following factors also influence the cost:

  • digging holes for installing concrete posts;
  • preparing the concrete mix for pouring and reinforcing;
  • pouring concrete into the holes containing the posts;
  • installing and leveling the slabs, followed by erecting the fence.

The cost may also include formwork installation, slab trimming, cladding, and painting the fence, if necessary.

What is taken into account in the price of a concrete fence?

In addition to the fence length and height, materials used, and the factors described above, several other factors can also influence the cost of the work. Typically, price increases are driven by the following additional factors:

  • The location of the fence installation—asphalt or concrete. In difficult and hard soils, this process becomes significantly more complex, increasing the cost.
  • Stump and tree removal, as well as rock removal.
  • The presence of an old fence at the installation site that needs to be dismantled. This stage involves demolition work, which is charged at separate rates.
  • The location of the installation site. The price increases if the slabs need to be transported further than 50 meters.

Installing a concrete fence yourself is a complex process. In any situation, choosing a turnkey concrete fence construction service is the best option for customers.

RСC ALBA specialists will ensure all stages of the work are completed in the correct sequence. Thus, the customer receives a ready-to-use facility within the agreed-upon timeframe.
